Jason Arno made the ultimate sacrifice while bravely battling a four-alarm fire on the 700 block of Main Street in Buffalo on Wednesday.

The Buffalo Professional Firefighters Association released funeral arrangements for our local hero.

According to the Buffalo Professional Firefighters Association, the wake will be held on Thursday, March 9th from 2 PM - 8 PM at Amigone Funeral Home, located at 1132 Delaware Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14209.

The funeral will be the following day, Friday, March 10th, at 10 AM. It will be held at St. Joseph’s Cathedral, located at 50 Franklin Street, Buffalo, NY 14202.

Arno was the beloved husband of Sarah-Elizabeth, and he was the loving father of Olivia Louise.

He had a younger brother, Delton, who spoke of Jason as if he was a twin.

A GoFundMe has been posted for the family by Jason's brother, who wrote on the page:

"She [Jason's daughter] is three and a half and is still unaware of her father's passing. The fact that she and his wife, these two beautiful souls. have to face these disgustingly unfair circumstances is heart-wrenching."

Delton Arno wrote, "I have so much anger and sadness and regret in my heart. Every morning I wake shaken from the memory of this unshakable event."

"When this is over and the silence is here, I want Sarah and his precious, daughter, the years of peace that's the minimum requirement to figure this out from within."

The GoFundMe page continues to receive donations, but as you may already know, GoFundMe takes out a percentage of all the donations for the websites.

If you want to make sure your full donation goes to the Arno family, you can drop off checks to 500 Southside Pkwy, Buffalo, NY 14210.

Food and grocery gift cards can be dropped off to the Union Office as well.
