Jimmy Fallon in Buffalo Today for Dyngus Day [UPDATE]

UPDATE: Whoops -- turns out this was a prank! Kudos to the perpetrator -- you totally got me!

It's been a year since Anderson Cooper thought it was a joke that Buffalo is the home of the biggest Dyngus Day party in North America. Dyngus Day event planners have tried getting Cooper to come to Buffalo today to crown him the first ever Pussy Willow Prince. He did not respond to the request, but then, out of the blue, Jimmy Fallon decides that he wants to come join the festivities.

He has been in Buffalo all day, even rehearsing for a performance as early as 9 a.m. today.

"I hope Mr. Cooper watches how much fun Jimmy Fallon is having here in Buffalo, NY and realizes he missed out on such a heritage event," says Ed Woczkowicz, one of the festivals organizers.

Hopefully, Buffalo we'll be on national TV later this week! See you tonight!
