Join WYRK for Pups and Pints on the Patio

I've often mentioned my love for adopted pets.  If you've ever thought about adopting, or wanted to help out an incredible pet adoption center, stop out to one (or all) of these events.

WYRK will be teaming up with Clyde's Feeds and Awesome Paws Rescue for Pups & Pints on the Patio this summer.  You'll find us at The Public House on the Lake, 4914 Lake Shore Rd (Route 5), Hamburg on the following dates:

Wednesday June 20^th 5p-7p

Wednesday July 18^th 5p-7p

Wednesday August 22^nd 5p-7p 

Our friends from Clyde’s Feeds will be on there with us, and thanks to them, we will be giving away dog food samples, dog toys, and gift cards. That's right, we will have prizes for our listeners and their dogs!

Public House on the Lake will be featuring the Awesome Paws signature drink, the Purple Pup: Blueberry Vodka, Lemonade. Splash of Curacao, and Splash of Grenadine. $1 from every Purple Pup purchased will be donated to Awesome Paws Rescue. They will also have gift cards to giveaway on site.

Awesome Paws rescue will be on site with 3 adoptable dogs. They are currently in the middle of their June Shoe Drive, so we will have donation bins set up at both Public House and Clyde’s as of today. All proceeds from Shoe Drive will benefit the dogs at Awesome Paws.

Of course remember that pet adoption is something that should be well thought out and taken seriously.  You will not walk away with a dog that night.  There is a process involved with adopting a pet.  So what will be required?

Adoption Process:

• Submit an application at AwesomePawsRescue.org
• Contact your veterinarian and give them permission to speak with Awesome Paws
• A volunteer will be in touch to schedule a home visit
• Once approved, you can request a private meeting with any dog you are interested in!
