The Buffalo Bills are preparing for their week 15 game against the Miami Dolphins at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park this Saturday. The game will be a nationally televised matchup on The NFL Network.

The Bills have won four straight games but if you have watched the last month or two, they have clearly had some problems on offense. They face too many third and long situations, and often times need quarterback Josh Allen to bail them out.

The Bills have relied upon Gabe Davis as the number two wide receiver and Isaiah McKenzie as the number three option, but there have been times this season they have let the offense down.

The Bills added depth two weeks ago, signing back former Bills wide receiver John Brown to the practice squad; he was elevated for two games.

On Tuesday, the Bills brought back another former wide receiver: Cole Beasley, who came out of retirement to sign with the Bills practice squad.

The Bills desperately needed a safety blanket in the middle of the field. It's a problem which has presented itself over the last several weeks, as teams take away the over-the-top plays.

Beasley is a polarizing figure on social media, because of his Twitter rants since the spring of 2021, but the Bills have decided he is needed right now on the field.

According to Louie Del Rio of WIVB, Josh Allen is the reason Beasley and Brown are back with the Bills. He went to the team with the idea of bringing them back and the locker room was in full support.

We don't know yet whether or not Beasley has enough left in the tank to make a serious impact with the offense. But his skillset is needed right now for this passing offense.
