Josh Allen Addresses Nose Injury With Media
The Buffalo Bills cruised to a 30-14 win over AFC East rival the New York Jets on Sunday, but Bills Mafia held their breath after star QB Josh Allen was injured.
Josh Allen Injured In Win Over New York
Josh Allen ran to the sidelines during the 2nd quarter of the Bills/Jets game with blood streaming from his face. It turns out that he was hit in the bridge of his nose by a hand after diving for a couple of extra yards.
The good news is that he only missed a handful of plays before returning to the field with gauze in his nose. He would go on to only throw for 148 yards with no touchdowns in the big win.
Josh Allen Speaks About His Nose Injury
After the game, Allen addressed the media and talked about his injury.
The Buffalo Bills didn't need Allen to be a hero like in the Week 1 win over the Ravens. The Bills' running game and defense led the charge against the Jets. Running back James Cook ran for 132 yards on 21 attempts and had two touchdowns as well. The Bills' defense stepped up as well, forcing three fumbles, one of which they recovered. They also recorded four sacks in the win.
Up next for the Buffalo Bills is another AFC East rival as they host the Miami Dolphins on a short week. The Bills and Dolphins play this Thursday at Highmark Stadium.
The Bills come into the game with a 2-0 record while the Dolphins are 0-2 and currently in last place in the AFC East.
I have the Bills winning 35-14. What do you think? Let me know HERE or send me a message using our App.
