The atmosphere yesterday at Highmark Stadium was electric.

The Bills were riding wave of emotion in light of what happened to their teammate Damar Hamlin, who continues to recover at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center from his cardiac arrest.

The Bills clinched the 2 seed with a win over the New England Patriots, which means the Bills now play the Miami Dolphins in the Wild Card round this Sunday in Orchard Park. Miami beat the New York Jets, while the Patriots loss eliminated them from postseason contention.

The Bills started the game on fire, with that memorable Nyheim Hines kickoff return for a touchdown to start the game and then a Patriots three and out. However, the Bills lack of a normal preparation may have shown up after that, as the Patriots took a 17-14 lead.

The Bills did right the ship and quarterback Josh Allen threw three touchdown passes in the game.

The final touchdown pass was to wide receiver Stefon Diggs and it was probably the most impressive touchdown pass we have seen from Allen this season...and possibly of his career.

The touchdown gave the Bills a 35-23 lead, which ended up being the score. Allen threw the football from the Bills 40-yard-line to the opposing end zone. The ball was in the air for 62 yards and hit Diggs in stride.

What's most impressive about the throw is Allen doesn't fully step into it. He doesn't take a step or two forward, yet, he seemingly decided to take a little zip off the ball based on body movement.

The end zone angle does it even more justice.

We have now become numb to these kinds of throws from Allen, but this one to Diggs should not go unnoticed. One of the best quarterbacks in the NFL plays for the Buffalo Bills.
