Kids In Dunkirk Arrested For Elaborate Fidget Spinner Theft

It's official - the fidget spinner trend is out of control.  After reading a story about a woman who just got arrested for trying to steal 18 fidget spinners, I see another that talks about some Dunkirk kids who orchestrated an elaborate scheme to take the trendy toy.

According to WKBW, the two children (ages 11 and 12) went so far as to disconnect wiring to the exterior perimeter lighting and then used a rock to smash the window to get inside the store.

All just to steal a toy that is taking the world by storm.

These toys only cost a couple bucks a piece right?

The merchandise was recovered by officers at one of the kids' houses and the case will now head to family court.
