This is a complete scam! People are falling for these scams on Facebook again for the second year in a row. The Better Business Bureau sent out a warning of the schemes recently.

Last year, the “Secret Wine Bottle Exchange” took off like wildfire (it is again), but another pyramid scheme, the  “Secret Sister Gift Exchange”

While gift exchanges grow in popularity during the holiday season, BBB advises consumers to use caution when choosing one in which to participate. According to the U.S. Postal Inspection Service’s gambling and pyramid scheme laws, gift chains like this are illegal and participants could be subject to penalties for mail fraud", said the Better Business Bureau.

Someone on Facebook will ask for at least 6 people to participate, and keep tagging other people, buy at least a $15 gift/bottle of wine and you'll get up to 6 to 25 bottles in return?

Too goo to be true? That's because it is. The Bureau says though, the scammer now gets your gift, money and home address.
