Need your daily dose of cute for the day?  We've got it right here as the new lion cubs start to explore their Buffalo surroundings.

They're affectionately known in Buffalo as the "Fab Four" and they're turning heads once again.

Who are the "Fab Four?"

Many around the world know the Fab Four as the megastars from the band "The Beatles."  But in Buffalo, when you talk about the "Fab Four," you're talking about 4 African lion cubs that were just born in June.  They were born to mom Lusaka and their proud dad Tiberius on June 2nd and 3rd.  Of course, they got their name because there were 4 in the litter.

The Zoo shares the cubs' first interaction with snow

As you can imagine, snow is something that most lions never get to see.  Living in the plains of Africa, they normally have very hot desert-like weather.  But these cubs were lucky enough to be born in Buffalo, NY.  So they not only get to experience snow, but they get to do it within the first 6 months of their lives!

It certainly doesn't seem to bother them at all.  They immediately start to roll around in it like a Bills fan when the Bills find a way to beat the Patriots or the Dolphins in the first round of the playoffs at Highmark Stadium.

Can you see the lion cubs?

There was a short period when the cubs weren't available to the public as they were giving them time to adjust shortly after being born.  But they've already made their debut and are available to visit now!  The zoo is open all year round (aside from a couple of holidays where they will be closed).

You can stop in to check them out Friday and Saturday from 10:00 am - 6:30 pm and Sunday from 10:00 am–4:00 pm.
