Liz’s Kitchen: Bacon Blue Burger Recipe
It's grilling season and you can't make it through the summer without throwing some burgers on the grill! But, let's not stick to just normal cheeseburgers let's kick it up a notch with some fun twists from the Tops Kitchen! Summer Celebration is in full swing at Tops you can get great ideas and deals for spicing up your meals in the summer! Right now we're celebrating burgers and this recipe is great! It's easy to make and brings a fun twist on an American classic.
Bacon Blue Burger
- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 1/2 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- Steak seasoning, to taste
- Extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 pound blue cheese
- 12 slices bacon, cooked and well drained
- 6 Kaiser rolls, split
Preheat grill to hot. Combine ground round, onion, Worcestershire sauce and steak seasoning. Form into 6 patties. Brush burgers with extra virgin olive oil.
Place on grill and cook until meat registers 160 F. Place blue cheese on the burger, add 2 slices of cooked bacon and place on a roll to serve and ENJOY!
