This was another first time recipe try! After scanning the interwebs for easy, healthier meals I fell on this recipe. Steak, peppers, onions...how can you go wrong? It was another instance where most of the ingredients I already had in my pantry! These are the best because it keeps your grocery costs down. This does have sirloin in the recipe so that is a little more out of the wallet.  For me, finding recipes with beed is important since I have 200 plus pounds of cow coming my way LOL You want to have variety of options.

Slow Cooker Pepper Steak
2 lb beef sirloin steak, cut into 2 inch strips
1 garlic powder, to taste
3 tbsp vegetable oil
1 cube beef bouillon
1⁄4 cup hot water
1 tbsp corn starch
1⁄2 cup onion, chopped
2 large green bell pepper, roughly chopped
1 can (14.5 ounce) stewed tomatoes, with liquid
3 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp white sugar
1 tsp salt

If you prep before you cook, this is a breeze to put together! A quick seasoning and browning of the meat and then everything goes in the crockpot! The most time consuming thing (aside from the prep) was dissolving the beef bullion cube in the water. Mix everything in the crockpot and set it on low for 6-8 or high for 3-4! So simple! This recipe serves 6, so depending on the size of the family you have left over night or lunch for the next day!
