So it hasn't been the best season thus far for those of us that own snowmobiles. From a lack of snow to rain to warm days, the trails are rather quiet to say the least. However, we did get some snow over the last 24 hours and if you are like me, you are jonesin to get out and ride. For those that don't know, just because it may appear to be good conditions, the trails may remain closed. I have found the best way to keep up with the trails is to join a club. The benefits of joining a club are many. First and foremost, how do you suppose those trails got there in the first place? The members of the various clubs are constantly working on the trails and with land owners to ensure a fun and safe ride for all of us. Second, you can save money. When you are a member of a club, you save on registration fees. Third, they are the voice for us in Albany. Believe it or not, there are ongoing issues and arguments that clubs tackle with government on an annual basis. In order to protect our riding privileges, we need dedicated club members and officials to represent us. There are many other benefits to joining a club but I figured I'd just highlight a few.

Keep praying for snow and if you would like to join one or even a couple of the many clubs we have in New York...click the link below.
