There are apparently only two options when it comes to dipping wings in sauce. You can choose ranch like the rest of the country, or you can choose the only option that exists in Buffalo, New York. If you've ever been to Buffalo, you know it has to be blue cheese. There is no other option.

Luke Bryan doesn't do blue cheese dip

At a recent VIP party before his show at Six Flags Darien Lake, country singer and American Idol judge Luke Bryan tried to appeal to his Buffalo audience by mentioning that he had some Buffalo wings earlier in the day. He made two mistakes when he did. First, he called them "Buffalo" wings. People in Buffalo just call them wings. Then, when the crowd asked if he dipped them in blue cheese or ranch, he confidently stated that he dipped them in ranch, which resulted in a loud "boo" from the crowd. He almost seemed taken aback by their response. So he just said, "Just chill the f**k out for a minute."

Luke explained why he really doesn't like blue cheese

When he finally got the crowd to stop booing, he explained what it was that he didn't like about blue cheese. He explained, "When you really dissect the smell of blue cheese, it smells like throw up."

He did receive at least one enthusiastic, "YES!" from someone in the crowd, so he continued, "If you don't agree with me, then you have Covid and your senses of smell are gone."

Not all blue cheese is bad for Luke

While he was pretty strong-willed against blue cheese dip, he did admit that he wasn't against all blue cheese. He will sometimes agree to a blue cheese crumble on his salad, but continued by saying that he doesn't like dipping his wings in "sour throw up."

We've had so many people come to Buffalo and try our blue cheese and admit that it's different here. Our blue cheese isn't quite the same as what the rest of the country gets. So what do you think? Do you agree that it smells like throw-up?
