Some sad news out of Los Angeles; actor Luke Perry has died after suffering a massive stroke last week.  Paramedics responded to his home last Wednesday morning and he was immediately taken to a nearby hospital.

Perry died Monday morning at St. Joseph's Hospital in Burbank surrounded by his family including his children, finance and ex-wife.  He was 52.

Perry recently has been filming episodes of the CW Network drama series Riverdale.  Over his career he's best known for his role as Dylan McKay on the series Beverly Hills, 90120 which ran for 10 seasons on Fox.

By coincidence Fox announced a reboot of Beverly Hills, 90120 on the same day Perry suffered his stroke.  The new show will include most of the original case, but because he's contractually tied up with Riverdale Perry was not included in plans for the new series.
