Major Change to Only Roller Coaster of Its Kind in New York State

There is only ONE of these roller coasters in all of New York State and it is right outside Buffalo where it has to go under a massive make over and update.

There is only one suspended roller coaster in all of New York State and it is called the Mind Eraser at a theme park in Western New York, Darien Lake. Six Flags owns the theme park and it had to go under a very serious transformation this year for safety and appearance. The Mind Eraser got all brand new cars, seat belts and new paint.

Right now, season passes for Darien Lake are only 55 bucks and this year they have al of their special events lined up:

Hurricane Harbor opens (May 17-18)
Star-Spangled Night (July 4)
Kingdom Bound (July 27-30)
Fright Fest (September 20 - October 25)
Kids Boo Fest (September 20 - October 25)

Over the years they have apparently taken measures to try and make it a little bit of a smoother ride for guests to enjoy. Darien Lake will open up on May 15, 2025 this year and the water park will open up the following day.

Did you know that New York State also has one of the oldest roller coasters in the entire world? It is at the Sea Breeze amusement park that is right by Rochester, New York. The Jack Rabbit is what it is called and it is turning 105 years old this year.
