Things would have to come together in the perfect scenario for us to hit the record lows, but it could happen this week.

Even if we don't hit the record lows this week, it will still be very cool and well below normal for this time of year in Western New York.

The good news if you were hoping for the end of summer to come sooner than later, things will remain on the cooler side as we head into the first week of September and the first week of school in Western New York.

We are looking at temperatures in the upper 70s and low 80s, before another warm-up comes our way.
