Whether you want to admit it or not, you know you love McDonald’s. Everyone does.

Whether it brings back nostalgic memories of ordering a Happy Meal for the toy, or if you literally stopped there for lunch today, you’d be hard-pressed to find someone in New York who hasn’t eaten at one of their 580 locations across the Empire State.

It’s easy to understand why those golden arches are so popular around the world. It’s convenient, consistent (a Big Mac from your local Mickey Dee’s will taste exactly the same as one in Japan), fast and affordable.

Occasionally, McDonald’s will introduce limited-time items, creating urgency and excitement for its customers. People recently went crazy over their Grimace shake, a purple berry-flavored sweet treat, causing it to sell out everywhere before it was yanked from the menu.  Before that, the chain released other additions like the Strawberry Shortcake McFlurry and the Cheesy Jalapeno Quarter Pounder that were only available for a short while.

Now that it's gone, McDonald’s has debuted another new temporary menu item that we’re sure New York State customers will be dying to get their hands on.

McDonald’s Has A Brand New McFlurry Flavor

When McDonald’s introduced the McFlurry in 1995, it was an instant hit. The vanilla soft-serve mixed with candies and cookies is so popular, there’s even a website dedicated to which McDonald’s locations have working ice cream machines.

Starting today, McDonald’s is upping their McFlurry game with a brand new flavor available for a limited time, and peanut butter fans will rejoice.

Peanut Butter Crunch McFlurry Now At Participating McDonald’s

Beginning August 9th, McDonald’s has added the Peanut Butter Crunch McFlurry to their menu at participating locations nationwide.

The new frozen treat is made with “creamy vanilla soft serve and blended with crispy cereal mix and chocolatey peanut butter cookie pieces.”

Um…. that sounds amazing. And it’d better be, considering a regular-size clocks in at a whopping 510 calories per serving.

The new McFlurry flavor will only be on the McDonald’s menu for a limited-time, and if it’s anything like the Grimace shake, locations throughout New York will have a tough time not selling out of it daily.

If you want to get your hands on a Peanut Butter Crunch McFlurry, you probably should head to the closest McDonald’s ASAP before it’s impossible to find.
