Snow and more snow is expected for Western New York on Monday. The Winter Storm Watch that was issued early Sunday morning has now been upgraded to a Winter Storm WARNING, according to WGRZ.

You can expect 5-10 inches of snow -- exact amounts depending on where you live. Areas inland are still expected to see a little more accumulation than those near the lake.

The worst is expected Monday afternoon through the overnight. Lake effect bands should set up over both Lake Erie and Lake Ontario on Tuesday as cold northerly winds gear up. If you have to travel, take your time and be extra cautious, of not just the snow, but fellow drivers as well.
