After a very sad, tragic accident, the Tim Hortons location is still closed.

One mother was working a shift at a Tim Hortons closer to Rochester and brought her 3 year old son and he climbed onto the grease trap that was outside and somehow opened up the cover and fell in and could not get out.

After he passed away, officials have announced that the mother will not be charged.

According to WIVB:

Now officials are looking into regulations which would prevent something like this from happening again. Monroe County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo is drafting a local law which would require grease trap lids to be difficult to removed. But it still remains unclear who inspects and maintains the grease traps.
