The 15th Annual Music Is Art Festival announced a new location for 2017. Instead of hosting the festival at Delaware Park like in years past, they will be moving to Buffalo Riverworks. This will take a little anxiety out of the weeks leading up to the festival wondering whether or not the weather will cooperate.

In a news conference held on Saturday at Buffalo Riverworks, Founder Robby Takac, announced the festival will take place September 9th at the new venue. The festival will run that Saturday from 11am to 2pm. According to The Buffalo News, Takac said, "We'll still have more than 15 stages, 100 bands, artists, DJs, live art – all the things we're known for. But this year, most of the stages will be protected from the elements."

Even with the venue change the Music Is Art Festival will still be free to attend for all ages. If you want to be part of the festival you can visit the Music Is Art website now, they are currently taking submissions.
