The game was great, the commercials were pretty good, but the halftime show left plenty to be desired...

The game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Green Bay Packers was entertaining - two good teams battling it out on the field on a day that a lot of people would consider a national holiday. Pittsburgh couldn't get much done on the offensive side of the ball in the first half of the game, but at least made it interesting in the second half, and for a moment it looked like Pittsburgh was going to make a comeback in the game. Green Bay, for most of the game, looked flawless and was by far the better team, deserving the win! Congrats to Coach Mike McCarthy, QB Aaron Rodgers and the rest of the Packers.

Unfortunately, the halftime show featuring the Black Eyed Peas did not live up to it's hype in my opinion. The sound was awful and the performance was bland. I do enjoy the Black Eyed Peas, and have for years, but I expected more in the halftime show. I don't blame the Peas for the bad performance, I believe it had more to do with the sound and special effects crews, as it almost seemed like they didn't even go through a practice run. The best part of the halftime show was when former Guns N Roses and Velvet Revolver guitarist Slash performed that famous guitar intro to "Sweet Child O' Mine."

There were a ton of celebrity sightings at the Super Bowl that Fox caught a glimpse of including... George W. Bush, Laura Bush, Condoleezza Rice, John Travolta, Ron Howard, Alex Rodriguez and Cameron Diaz. Speaking of A-Rod and Cameron Diaz, did you see the cute moment that was caught on tape? Cameron fed A-Rod some popcorn! How sweet - it's quick, catch a glimpse HERE.

My favorite commercial had to be the NFL Best Fans Ever commercial showing classic to current TV shows and their biggest fans. Happy Days, The Simpsons, The Office and even Seinfeld were all a part of this commercial. I am a born and raised Buffalonian, I bleed the Buffalo Bills colors, and it thrilled me to see a Buffalo Bills jacket on Kramer from Seinfeld in the commercial.
