NFL Fanbase In New York Named Most "Foul-Mouthed"

In New York State, there are apparently 3 NFL Teams: the New York Giants, the New York Jets, and the Buffalo Bills. However, only one of those teams actually plays in New York state, and every fanbase is aware of that.

The upcoming Monday night football game is highly anticipated between the Buffalo Bills and the New York Jets. The Bills will be traveling to New Jersey on Monday, October 14 to play in the Jets’ home stadium, and it’s a game that both teams really want to win since they are both in the AFC East.

Ahead of the big game though, new data findings revealed that the “New Jersey” Jets has one of the most foul-mouthed fanbases in the NFL.

Researchers analyzed Reddit data to determine what NFL fanbases are the rudest and use the most curse words. At the top of the list, the Detroit Lions fans ranked as the #1 Most Foul-Mouthed team, “cursing 288 times online in last year alone.” However, the New York Jets fans were in the top 10, averaging about 170 curse words in their posts.

This could prove to be an interesting game for the Bills and the Jets, and not just for the end result of the game, but rather to see what happens in the stands during the game. If Jets fans are rowdy and are known for stirring the pot, hopefully the Bills Mafia members that travel to the game don’t stoop to their level during the game.

The same study was able to prove that a Jets fan’s favorite curse word was determined to be the “F-word,” and hopefully that’s what they will be saying on the way out of the stadium on Monday night.
