One of the reasons might be the pre-game speech Bills All-Pro safety Jordan Poyer gave out before kickoff. Check out what he said about the New England Patriot players before the game.

The Bills' defense was definitely fired up, intercepting New England Patriots QB Mac Jones twice while sacking him three times as well.
The Bills' offense was unstoppable as well. They went on to score seven touchdowns on seven drives for a perfect game.
Poyer and the defense will need to bring that same energy to this Sunday's match-up against the defending AFC Champions the Kansas City Chiefs. The Bills beat the Chiefs during the regular season at Arrowhead Stadium, but the post-season is a different animal.
It is win or go home. The Bills are hoping to get back to the AFC championship game and to do that they will need to shut down Patrick Mahomes and the high-flying Chiefs offense.
The last time the Bills' defense face Mahomes, they forced four turnovers and sacked Mahomes twice. They will need another strong game to walk away with the win.
The last time the Bills beat Kansa City in a playoff game, it was in the AFC Championship game in 1993. Jim Kelly and the K-Gun offense scored 30 points and the defense held the Chiefs to only 13 points. Buffalo never trailed in the game.
