Amazing New Restaurant in North Tonawanda is a Must-Try

This has got to be one of the best new restaurants here in Western New York. It is in Tonawanda where there are already so many great restaurants that have been around for years. Actually Tonawanda, New York is home to some of the best restaurants in Western New York overall in general.

You have the Remington tavern, Prescott Provisions, Frankie Primos which also has one of the coolest patios in Western New York, and now North Tonawanda is home to the coolest brewery as well.

It is called District 37.

The bar and restaurant is a brewery with some great food and a massive bar and seems like all the locals could and should be going there every single Friday and Saturday night. I still think about the burger with a caramelized onion and bacon Chipotle sauce on there all the time. Not to mention there are dozens and dozens of different beers that are all listed on the wall.

The name District 37 comes from the lumberjack folklore of this legendary spot where workers would come afterwards sit, eat, relax and drink and cash in their chips and have a good time after a hard day's work.

We do this date night idea with our friends called "mystery dinner". There's a group of us and whoever is the person and in charge for the night comes up with an itinerary of two to four restaurants, puts everybody in the car and then doesn't tell anybody where we're going and brings them from stop to stop. It is a great way to try different restaurants across Western New York and there's a theme connecting all of the restaurants. The theme this night was lumberjack and that is how we came up with getting to District 37. The food and staff and atmosphere were awesome and will be coming back.
