The New York Beer Project's latest restaurant finally opened in Orchard Park.  If you're one of the few who have already checked it out, did you notice this?

People have been anxiously awaiting the opening date of the new restaurant in Orchard Park to open up.  We were able to go there last weekend for a friend's birthday and we had a great time.

The entire building is themed around a cabin in the woods.  It's actually called the New York Beer Project Lodge.  For months people have been watching every stop of the progress because two things were obvious from what we could see from the 219.  The first was that it did not look at all like the location in Lockport which is very square and boxy.  The second was that it was huge.

This place looks gigantic.  As soon as you get out of your car in the parking lot you can see just how big it is.  When you walk in, there are multiple areas where you can go.  You can go into the dining area where you will be seated for a meal. You could go upstairs for the rest of the seating.  You could go to the bar area where there are a couple of smaller tables and an enormous bar.  Or, you could go outside to enjoy some appetizers and some drinks while playing cornhole.

But if you're paying attention when you walk in, you might notice that their fermentors (the huge tanks where they make the beer)  are labeled in a very Buffalo way.

Each of the tanks has the name and number of a current or a former member of the Buffalo Bills.  Even Marv Levy is represented!
