There are signs posted all along the New York State Thruway this week and they offer a stern warning to all drivers, specifically truck drivers.

We have a camper/trailer that we pull from place to place and I recently measure it to be 10.5 feet tall. There are some bridges on rural roads that I need to go under that are 11 feet. However, even with that six inch gap, I get anxious when I pass under them. Tire pressure inflation or changes in roads like new asphalt make me worried about being able to get under the overpass when we travel.

New York State wants every drive to know their height and be safe this summer.
