They say the only consistent thing in life is change.  When talking about TV News in Buffalo, you see a lot of it.

When we were growing up, it felt like we got our news from the same people day in and day out.  These days though, it feels a little bit more like a revolving door.  Just about the time you get familiar with someone in the news they tend to move on, either to new stations, or new cities.

We just got news this week that another TV news personality will be leaving Buffalo.  WGRZ sports reporter Lindsey Moppert announced through her social media that her last day would be Wednesday.  While she didn't reveal what was next for her, it is believed that she will be heading back to her hometown to be nearer to her parents.

We've had some major movement in the last couple of years and have seen some major names say goodbye at the news desk.  Included in the list are:

1. Abby Fridman - April 2023 - WIVB

While she is no longer in Buffalo, Abby moved right up the 90 and is now working at WHAM in Rochester.

2. Maria Genero - December 2023 - WGRZ

Maria left in December of 2023 and said that he intended to "pursue interests other than weather forecasting."

3. Kate Welshofer - October 2023 - WGRZ

Kate left "Most Buffalo" to become the PR person for the National Comedy Museum in Jamestown.

4. Hannah Beuhler - September 2023 - WIVB

Hannah left the anchor desk to spend her time enjoying her new babies.

5. Heather Ly - April 2024 - WGRZ

Jacquie stepped away from the anchor desk but has remained with the WIVB team.
