WIVB's Marlee Tuskes tweeted out earlier this evening:

"#JustIn: No tailgating will be allowed this @BuffaloBills season, including in private lots, if fans are not allowed in the stadium. Orchard Park Town Board members say @ECDOH contacted them with this decision earlier today."

The Orchard Park Bee confirmed the recommendation from the Erie County Department of Health.

WIVB reports the recommendations are "if fans are not allowed in the stadium." It's unclear if the Erie County Department of Health's recommendations will change if a limited amount of fans are allowed to attend.

As well, the Orchard Park Town Board set a date for a public hearing regarding "a change in the town’s code involving buses on private lots surrounding the stadium." The hearing is set for September 2.

The Buffalo Bills issued the following statement this week regarding fan attendance:

"As we are well aware of New York State’s current guidelines for the return of professional sports, we are still in the process of planning for the possibility of a limited amount of spectators being able to attend games for the 2020 season."
