Western New York's beloved Bison dip is getting some recognition and as the Buffalo News put it: duh.

Bison French Onion Chip Dip was ranked first out of 8 at a competition at the New York State Fair in Syracuse. Mark Serling, marketing executive for Upstate Niagara Cooperative said:

I mean, it is so widely used here in Buffalo, that for the longest time, I figured it was so popular that the whole country ate it.
