We are no strangers to inclement weather in Buffalo.  While normally it has to do with snow, in the last 24 hours, we got a bunch of rain.

We are in full fall season.  By that, I mean unsettled weather.  So far, the temperature hasn't been bad, but the wind...the rain...we're getting it all.

If you watched the Bills game yesterday, you know how bad it was coming down in the south towns.  It definitely affected the game and evidently continued long after the last play.

If you've ever driven down South Park in Hamburg, no doubt you've seen this parking lot.  It's the Town Hall Plaza by Ollie's Bargain Outlet across the street from Aldi, Big Lots, and Mighty Taco.  It was completely submerged in water.  So much so that from the picture it looks like a lake

Overnight The Southtowns Scanner posted the pictures to show just how much had gathered in the lot.  The question in many people's minds was whether or not it was too much rain, or more of a case of a bad drainage problem.

Obviously it's a combination of both!

It doesn't look like we're going to see much of a change for the next couple days either.  More rain is on the way throughout the day today, and into tomorrow.  We will get a couple days on Wednesday and early on Thursday that will be a little more dry, but then we will back to rain through the weekend.

Did you get a lot of rain where you are?  Remember we always love when you share those pictures with us through our WYRK App!
