It’s time once again for our Hometown Hero, brought to you by Batavia Downs Gaming with help from our friends at WNY Heroes who help us with our nominations every week.  This week, our Hometown Hero serves our country proudly in the United States Air Force.   It’s Technical Sergeant Patrick Coyne!

Patrick lives in Depew NY.  He joined the Air Force reserves in February 2004. He is now currently an Active Guard Reserve with the 914th security forces squadron and is a combat arms instructor. His job is to train others on the use of small arms, oversee, maintain and repair all small arms in the U.S. Air Force inventory.

In 2007 Coyne deployed to Kirkurk Iraq in support of Operation Enduring Freedom providing air base ground defense on Forward Operating Base Warrior.

Coyne is also a 12 year member with the Depew fire dept. And currently serves as a Leiutenant with Depew fire dept. West End Hose Co. #6.

Today, we say thank you to Technical Sergeant Patrick Coyne  from our United States Air Force Reserves and are proud to name him our Hometown Hero of the week!
