If you haven't heard (and judging by the buzz around town, you have), the Buffalo Bills will play an AFC Divisional Round playoff game this Saturday against the Baltimore Ravens at Bills Stadium in Orchard Park. Kickoff is at 8:15 p.m.

Other than the play on the field, a big storyline this week has been the weather. Will it snow and how much? Turns out, it will indeed snow for the Bills game and don't be surprised if it's substantial.

According to WIVB, colder air will filter into Western New York on Saturday night, as will some snow showers for the start of the game. Then lake effect picks up as the night wears on, which could prove to make it heavy snow at some point during the game.

WGRZ reports that anywhere of 2-4 inches of snow should fall in Orchard Park, between 8 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. The key for exactly how much snow falls will be when exactly that lake effect machine starts.

It'll be cold for the game too. Kickoff temperature should be around 32 degrees with intensifying wind. That would also be a factor in the game, especially field goals and extra points. Both the Ravens and Bills have good kickers.

I'm worried about the snow stifling the Bills' highly-aggressive passing game, however, this would also hurt Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson's throwing and running ability. It'll be very difficult to get those long-break runs in that weather.
