Queen City Super Flea Will Not Happen In 2023
March is finally here, which means that the warmer weather will soon enter Western New York. Typically, it takes a while around here for the weather to warm up and stay warm, but with ice cream places starting to open this month, the light is at the end of the tunnel.
Buffalo is a popular city for outdoor markets and other outdoor events that you normally cannot hold during the winter.
One of the events that went well in 2022 was the return of the Super Flea, which was held at the Buffalo Outer Harbor. The rebranded Super Flea is called the "Queen City Super Flea," which is a relaunch or the old Super Flea market in Cheektowaga on Walden Avenue.
The Queen City Super Flea will not be back in 2023 but the hope is to be back and better than ever in 2024, as they announced they won't be holding the market in 2023. They will look for the right location for an outdoor/indoor venue.
They don't want it to be just a seasonal event, which it had to be with the Outer Harbor location.
It was a sad say when the old Super Flea closed for good in 2010-2011, but it's so cool that enough people care to resurrect it for Buffalonians.
It'll be interesting to see where they decide to put the new, permanent location for the Queen City Super Flea. Would you like to see it in the city, northtowns or southtowns?
