Remember Fairnado? It Was Two Years Ago Already

It was just a few weeks away from the Erie County Fair when a surprise tornado shocked most of Western New York.

It was referred to by many as "Fairnado."  The F2 tornado ripped through Orchard Park, Hamburg, and Holland on July 20th, 2017 and caused thousands of dollars of damage to the Hamburg Fairgrounds and many houses.

It's pretty common to see severe weather in Western New York.  The wind, the hail, the rain...it's all pretty common. The thing that we don't often see is the pressure that is a result of a tornado.  The windows of just about every vehicle in the lot of the Hamburg Casino and the Hamburg Fairgrounds were completely blown out.
