Salamanca Schools Close For Flu Outbreak

If you haven't caught the flu yet, it's probably just a matter of time. What started out as a regular flu season has taken a deadly turn in many places around the United States. For one Cattaraugus County school district, officials are trying to stop the spread.

Salamanca schools will be closed on Monday, February 5th so school staff can cleanse and sanitize the school.

The school has had a large number of absences as a result of the flu this year. Experts say that the flu is most likely at it's peak. However, a flu shot may still be a good idea.
