Legendary Salvatore’s Hotel Has Officially Been Sold
Russ Salvatore is an absolute legend in Western New York. His generosity, his celebrity and his love for Buffalo are felt all over Western New York, but now it is a time for one of those chapters that he started to close. One of his beloved hotels are finally out of the Salvatore's family.
There was a lot of confusion on social media about what the Salvatore family actually sold. It is important to note that the following are NOT part of the sale: The Delevan, Russell's, Salvatore's Grand Hotel and Salvatore's Italian Garden Restaurant.
How much did Salvatore's Hotel sell for?
Salvatore's Garden Place Hotel sold for $8.5 million deal to a guy who buys hotels all across the country. They expect that the new owner is going to put in 2 million dollars in order to do upgrades to the 166 room hotel.
What if you have gift cards to use for the Garden Place Hotel on Transit Road?
Over the years there have been tons of specials when it comes to overnight stays and gift cards. We called Salvatore's and they confirmed with us that the new owners WILL honor gift cards if you have them from the Salvatore's ownership era.
