Buffalo, New York is the Dyngus Day capital of the world, but unfortunately, there will be no celebration at one of the usual, big spots in Western New York.

Everyone is sad that there will be NO Dyngus Day party at Salvatore's on Transit Road this year. Usually, the part is hosted by 'Dyngus Day Val', who throws the best Dyngus Day party each year. We reached out to see why they were not on the list for Dyngus Day parties in Buffalo and here is the message he responded with:

This is Joe Salvatore's text to me back in February: Val, We will not be able to do Dyngus Day. There is just to much that is needed from us and not enough staff to get it done. This is beyond me because I really think there would be a stellar crowd this year.

Thanks to our wonderful governmental leaders prolonging the COVID crap, you NEED the vaccine, you NEED the booster, you NEED to wear mask and they incentivize people to stay home....seems like no one wants to get back to work in the hospitality trades. Putting this whole country in turmoil. Guess I'll have to move on to next year and hope things will be better. Thanks for asking and KIT.

Unfortunately, the party will not be happening this year, but here are some of the parties that will be going on still!
