For me spring officially starts with the start of Baseball season. If you didn’t know this about me I’m a huge baseball fan. To be exact I’m a Mets fan but don’t hold that against me. This year though our Bison’s Baseball looks fantastic. Opening day alone was incredible! The players made it look easy out on the field. If you’re like me and a baseball fan or even if you’re not and just ready for spring make sure you make time to get out and catch a few games. Lucky for you the Bison’s have games every day this week at Coca Cola Field in Downtown Buffalo! Monday they kick off the Home stand taking on the Syracuse Chiefs and it’s a Markdown Monday too! Enjoy $1 Ice Cream and $1 Popcorn and even have a chance to win prizes during the game. That games starts on Monday at 6:05p. Then they have games on Tuesday at 6:05, Wednesday at 1:05p (which by the way that game is a Bingo day where they are going to play baseball bingo and other baseball themed in game promotions to win some great prices!), and Thursday there’s a 6:05p game. Finally on Friday it’s the first Friday Night Bash of the 2013 season!! It is seriously the best night of week and definitely one of my favorite types of games. They have all these events going on during the game that you’ll want to get involved with and then they finish it off with a post game fireworks show. I do have to say they have one of the best fireworks show too! The Friday Night Bash kicks off at 6:05p as they take on the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders.

Another great event to get you into the mood for spring is Springtime in the Country! I’m sure you’ve done your spring cleaning and gotten rid of all those unwanted items in your house that was just taking up space. Now that you have room you are certainly going to have to find more items to put there! This place will have everything. Even items you didn’t know you needed! I love this arts and crafts show. They have more than 200 artisans from all over the country that have brought along their amazing items for you to check out. There’s everything from bath and beauty supplies, to gourmet foods and wine, to home and garden décor. The best part that I like is all the homemade items like furniture, clothing, and even jewelry. Make sure you make time to stop out to Springtime in the Country this weekend at the Hamburg Fairgrounds.
