If you like going to craft shows, you live in the right place. There are a number of shows that come through each year at The Fairgrounds, including the popular Christmas in the Country and the show happening this weekend, Springtime in the Country.

It’s ranked one of America’s Top 25 Artisan Marketplaces, featuring artisans from 17 different states.  They include a number of exhibitors who have never exhibited in Western New York too.

It’s time to start thinking about yard work, and this show will feature landscaping items and ideas, along with garden sheds and lawn items. A lot of the stuff you’ll see at the show is handcrafted, American-made products, and the people creating them represent the very best of the small business person.  If you’re a crafter and looking for something to do this weekend, it’s a good bet for ya.

Springtime in the Country is Friday, April 5 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday, April 6 and 7, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Fairgrounds Event Center in Hamburg.

Admission is $6 for adults and seniors, and complimentary return passes are available at the show’s information booth.  Children under 12 are free. Parking is free.
