WHAT. THEEEEEEE.

Once in a while I will come home from work and see all of these red solo cups all over the floor, upside down and scattered out...and I know. That is my cue that I need to get napkins and get whatever bug is underneath that red solo cup. My wife hates having to kill bugs--especially spiders and I have a feeling that she is not alone (really, I am not alone as the only sole-bug-killer in the home).

Recently, there have been more and more stink bugs crawling around our bedroom and it is kind of concerning because there was a handful of them and that's where we sleep. So, I had to do a lot of research on these bugs that arrived in America in the 1990s. There are 2 ways to combat stink bugs? How do you get rid of stink bugs?

1.) If stink bugs are already in your house here is what you need to do.

Get a big Tupperware container and put a couple of squeezes of dish soap and a cup of vinegar in the Tupperware and then fill the rest of it up with warm water. Place by the window and in a couple of hours, you'll have some of those guys right in the water trapped and likely already dead.

2.) If you want to PREVENT the stink bugs from coming to your house here is what I found works. It may sound strange, but it actually worked. So far, at least.

Get an empty spray bottle, put some garlic powder or garlic cloves, if you have them, inside the water bottle, and just add warm water. Go OUTSIDE and spray the solution on the perimeter of all of the windows and doors and they won't go by them.
