7 Bills Players Who Could Be in Danger of Being Released

The Buffalo Bills are now preparing for their second preseason game, which will be this Saturday night against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Kickoff in Pittsburgh is set for 6:30 pm.

The Bills won their first preseason game against the Indianapolis Colts, 23-19. It was an up and down game for the Bills, with lackluster moments on defense and offense. There were plenty of good moments though.

The running backs looked great: both James Cook and Latavius Murray were impressive, as was rookie guard O'Cyrus Torrence.

Matt Barkley looked good in the second half, completing 14 of 15 passes. New wide receiver Andy Isabella caught four passes as well. He's in a fight for a roster spot.

In case you're wondering, the NFL will only have one single cutdown day this season, which will be the norm as we move forward.

By Tuesday, August 29th, all 32 teams must be down to 53 players. They can sign a number of players to their practice squad after they clear waivers, but that means roughly 35-37 players will be released on one day.

Who could be some surprise releases by the Bills?

If you look at the roster, there are simply not enough roster spots to go around. There will be some good players who will be let go by the Bills. It's just a matter of "who?"
