An Amber Alert has been issued for a Rochester boy by the New York State Special Victims Unit and the Rochester Police Department, after police received word that the boy was abducted by masked men.
We love that this is how the Erie County Department of Public Works has been naming storms in Western New York.
Now, we know what some of you are thinking: "this is not a 'storm". But, it qualifies and has been named by Erie County after a beer from Hamburg Brewing Company:

UPDATE: The Amber Alert issued earlier on Tuesday for a missing 12-year old girl was discontinued after she and two teenage boys were located safe in Farmersville in Cattaraugus County, not far from where she disappeared. No word yet on whether the two teens involved will be charged.
