AMBER Alert Issued In North Tonawanda After Teenager Was Abducted on Niagara Falls Blvd.
Breaking news early Tuesday morning.
The North Tonawanda Police Department issued an AMBER Alert and is currently investigating a child abduction that happened on Niagara Falls Blvd. in North Tonawanda around 7 p.m. on Monday night.
Police describe the child abducted as 17-year-old Stephnie White, who is 4 feet, 10 inches tall, and has brown eyes and brown hair. She was last seen wearing a black Deadpool sweatshirt with red and black pajama pants.
The suspect wanted is 50-year-old Michael D. Mesko, who is 6 feet, 1 inch tall with short brown hair and brown eyes. He has a surgical scar on the right side of his neck.
The vehicle police are looking for is a blue Nissan Rogue. The suspect and vehicle were last seen traveling on Niagara Falls Blvd. on Monday evening.
Because this is an AMBER Alert, police have reason to believe the child abducted is in immediate danger and anyone with information is asked to call the North Tonawanda Police Department at 716-692-4111.
