The Buffalo Sabres extended their winning streak to three games with a 2-1 win at Minnesota on Tuesday night, avenging last week's 4-0 loss to the Wild in Buffalo.  Johann Larsson scored the game winner to break a 1-1 tie with six and a half minutes left in the third period.

It's becoming increasingly apparent that this year's edition of the Buffalo Sabres is just simply not a very good hockey team.  It certainly doesn't help that their most talented player and another key player were hurt a day apart.  Without Jack Eichel and Evander Kane in the lineup the Sabres have limped to a 1-3-2 record that leaves them tied for the worst record in the NHL.
