Snowvember

A decade ago, the scene around Buffalo and Western New York looked a lot different than it does this week.

Where is the snow? Across New York State, people are waiting and holding their breath wondering when winter weather will show it's face?

Living in Western New York, there is absolutely one thing we can be sure of: snow will happen in Buffalo. Sometimes that snow comes in epic proportions and we need to be ready for an emergency weather event.

It's been seven years this week that Buffalo's south towns was hit with the most snow any of us will ever see in our lifetimes.

We get quite a few storms in the Buffalo area. Blizzard of '77, The October Storm, and "Snowvember" definitely stand out...do you remember where you were for them?

This is not a joke. But this is Buffalo. There is still snow from the November storm in Buffalo. You're probably thinking: How exactly is it still here? It's was 90 outside today and it's the end of July.

It's awfully green in Western New York at this point but that certainly wasn't the case a few weeks ago.  We had an enormous snow storm that put many people and businesses out of service.  That list includes the Buffalo Bills.  But another team stepped up to help them out.
