Taylor Swift Reveals That Her Mom Has Cancer #PrayForMamaSwift

It's true when they say that cancer affects everyone.  Someone you know has either had cancer or knows someone that does.  It does not discriminate.  Now, Taylor Swift has revealed that her mom is also battling this terrible disease.

She said on her tumbler page that there were no red flags to tell her to get screened.  She had just asked her mom to get screened with her this Christmas just to know.

The results came in, and I’m saddened to tell you that my mom has been diagnosed with cancer. I’d like to keep the details of her condition and treatment plans private, but she wanted you to know. -Taylor Swift

 

 

She went on to say that the reason she went public with the news is to remind others to get screened too.  She's hoping that her bad news might prompt someone to go through and get screened to either receive a clean bill of health, or an early diagnosis.
