If you're a dynamic speaker, artist, thinker or doer, TEDxYouth@Buffalo wants you to be part of their upcoming Ted Talks! This year's conference is entitled “IGNITE” and it  aims to highlight the "breadth of powerful talent that helps shape our local communities." This year's conference will be Thursday, March 8, 2018 at the Mildred Campbell Social Hall on the Campus of SUNY Buffalo State. Persons interested in being a speaker should have a "dynamic idea or concept to share with the conference’s target audience of 16-24-year-olds based on this year’s theme of “igniting” ideas for innovation and change to spread throughout the community."

To apply you will need to submit a video, here is the rundown of what it needs it o include and where it needs to go.

What: High-quality, 2-minute video focused on youth and the theme “Ignite”
How:  Upload to YouTube (your video can later be removed)
Who: Send your link to tedxyouthbuffalo@gmail.com or the Facebook page TedxYouth Buffalo
When: Must be submitted by 12:00 pm on Thursday, November 30, 2017

If you are picked as a speaker you will be provided with coaching to help you sharpen and prepare for your talk, you will also need to participate in several rehearsals. You can get full details on the submission process at tedxyouthbuffalo.com.
