The Biggest and Brightest Supermoon of The Year Will Be This Week
It's been a good year for astronomy and that trend continues with what experts are calling the biggest and brightest supermoon of the year.

According to WIVB, a supermoon will appear in the night sky and be at its fullest on Tuesday night.
A supermoon is a full moon moon that is closer to Earth than usual.
“If you can’t get out safely … then fine,” said, Scientist Noah Petro of NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center . “Go out next month or whenever it’s safe again. Use the full moon as an excuse to get out and start looking at the moon.”
Petro of course referencing the COVID-19 pandemic that has severely impacted out everyday lives. There still should be a good chance to catch it.
If not, another supermoon will be here on May 7th.
“We’ve really been fortunate to have some good astronomy — backyard astronomy or living room astronomy,” Petro said.
