Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and for many, that means the Turkey Trot.  But don't wait, there are less than 1300 spots available.

The race is a Buffalo tradition that takes place every Thanksgiving and involves around 14,000 of the bravest runners running an 8k race in questionable climates.

The year I ran it, it was 19 degrees at the race start.  It was the coldest race I had ever run.  But it was also one of the most entertaining.  People were dressed up and having a blast.  They were singing and running and it was a huge party.

But again, if you want to get in on this year's race to benefit the YMCA, you need to register now!  The price will go up as we get closer to Thanksgiving if there are still slots available.
