New York TV Station Makes Fun of Tom Brady’s Retirement [TWEET]
If you recall, this past Saturday afternoon was basically Tom Brady Day.
News broke of the future Hall of Famer's retirement, from the likes of ESPN's Adam Schefter and the NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. However, even though that was reported as truth, Tom Brady's agent released a statement, calling the news premature, and that Brady would make a statement in the future.
Many speculated that Brady could return, but it turns out, those reports were truthful.
On Tuesday, Tom Brady officially announced his retirement on his Instagram page.
The quarterback spent 22 seasons in the NFL; won 7 Super Bowls (played in 10), 3 league MVP's, and is all-time leader in both passing yards and passing touchdowns.

The world is reacting to Brady's retirement, but one TV station in New York City decided to have some fun at Brady's expense.
NBC New York tweeted out the story of Brady's retirement announcement, but decided to specify that Brady's career highlight was losing two Super Bowls to the New York Giants...
The tweet went viral, in a matter of minutes.
It doesn't stop there though, as WTOP in Washington D.C. decided to make a funny tweet, specifying that Brady lost to Washington this past season.
Tom Brady will go down as the greatest quarterback of all-time. Yes, many hate him here in Buffalo, and let's be honest, he ruined a generation's childhood (like me), but he is a superstar quarterback who went out after his most productive passing season ever.
But it's funny to see these tweets, and Brady is probably used to this by now.
